Shopee Philippines fees in 2026
According to the Shopee PH Seller Education Hub (Seller Fees article, updated April 27, 2026), sellers pay the following on each successful order, all VAT-inclusive:
- Commission fee — a percentage by category and seller type, charged on the item price after seller-funded discounts and vouchers, excluding shipping. Marketplace rates run from about 8.5% (phones, cameras, wearables) to 10.5% (fashion, home, sports and most others); Shopee Mall ranges from about 6% to 11%.
- Transaction fee: 2.24% of the buyer's total paid amount, including shipping, after seller discounts and before Shopee rebates. SPayLater installment orders can carry an extra 3%–6% when Special SPayLater is switched on.
- Platform Shipping Fee — 5.60% for Marketplace and 4.48% for Mall sellers, capped at ₱100 per item.
- Seller Growth Support Fee — 1%, or 1.5% in some categories such as health and beauty. The default preset adds 1% to the commission field.
- Order / infrastructure fee — a small fixed amount per order (₱5 in Shopee's published cross-border schedule); edit it if your statement shows something different.
- Program fees, only if you join: Mega Discount Voucher 4%, Live Xtra 3.36% (cap ₱100 per item), and a 2% service fee on completed pre-orders since January 1, 2026.
New sellers are exempt from the commission fee for the first 90 days after creating their first listing.
Lazada Philippines fees in 2026
Lazada charges three core fees on each delivered order: a commission by category, a 2.24% payment fee on the item price after your promotions plus the shipping fee paid by the buyer, and a ₱5 order processing fee introduced in 2025. LazMall commissions are higher than Marketplace. Cube Asia's Lazada take-rate tracker (updated August 1, 2026) lists Philippine commission between roughly 7.7% and 11.1% across categories, which is why the preset uses 8.45% for Marketplace and 11.08% for LazMall. Free Shipping Max is optional and costs about 5.8% of the item price, capped at ₱100 per item. New sellers get 0% commission for 90 days and 0% Free Shipping Max fee for 30 days.
Worked example: ₱499 item on Shopee
A non-Mall seller sells a ₱499 shirt with buyer-paid shipping excluded from the item price and a product cost of ₱250. Commission plus growth fee at 11.5% is ₱57.38, the 2.24% transaction fee is ₱11.18, the 5.60% platform shipping fee is ₱27.94 and the fixed fee is ₱5. Total fees are about ₱101.51 (20.3%), the net payout is ₱397.49, and the profit is ₱147.49. To break even on a ₱250 cost, the price must be at least about ₱316.
The same item on Lazada Marketplace without Free Shipping Max costs about ₱58.34 in fees (8.45% + 2.24% + ₱5), giving a profit near ₱190.66. Platform traffic and conversion differ, so compare profit per month, not just per order.
Pricing tips for Filipino sellers
- Price from your break-even upward. Total Shopee deductions of 18%–25% are common once programs are added.
- Low-priced items suffer most from fixed fees and the ₱100 cap works in favor of high-priced items — bundle cheap products.
- Seller-funded vouchers reduce the commission base, but platform vouchers do not.
- Remember 12% VAT and income tax on your own business income; see the VAT calculator and the 8% vs graduated tax guide.
